Pedagogy
Early childhood is the magical time of life when the senses are awakened. This particularly favorable period requires, for the harmonious development of the child, an environment that stimulates his imagination, develops his personality and encourages his self-confidence.
Teaching adapted to each child
Our school guarantees teaching adapted to each child while respecting:
- values and pedagogy developed by Maria Montessori
- National Education programs
- language teaching in immersion from kindergarten
- of art education: music, singing, drawing, theater
"Intelligence can only be led by desire. For there to be desire, there must be pleasure and joy. Intelligence grows and bears fruit only in joy. The joy of learning is as essential to studies as breathing is to runners." Maria Montessori
We also offer scientific and mathematical awareness workshops.
We also remain very attentive to researchers in the field of neuroscience.
Since learning is a process of discovery, for it to be done in the most effective, fruitful and harmonious way for the child, it is necessary to have favorable conditions, including:
- The time
- The pleasure
- No pressure
Personalized relationships allow teachers to follow the progress of each child in a caring way that allows them to always feel supported and respected by an adult/teacher. This learning environment is characterized by mutual respect. This system offers some objectives for the student's development:
- Responsibility (help me do it alone -> autonomy -> participation in decisions; implementation of these and presentation of results)
- Mutual respect
- Sensitivity (learning environment where trust and kindness reign)
Each student works at their own pace
Each student works at their own pace and is the subject of individual educational monitoring, so that they fully assimilate the school program at the end of the year, while being happy to go to school and satisfy their thirst for new knowledge. By relying on Montessori material, they concretely understand the concepts seen in class.
“The best legacy you can leave your children is a quality education.”
Julien Lefebvre
The child receives a comprehensive education with specific, weekly classes in physical activities (motor skills for the youngest and sport for the oldest) and artistic activities (music and art).
At the end of the primary cycle, the child has all the necessary foundations to calmly approach entry into secondary school.
